6.2 Planned Maintenance
Megapos operates locally on your device and doesn’t require internet connectivity for core functions. However, if you use any optional cloud features, scheduled maintenance will be announced via email at least 48 hours in advance.

Since Megapos stores data locally on your device:
- We recommend regular manual backups through the export function
- If you need to recover data, you can import previously exported files
